[req] ship mods other than Star Wars

Would like to see shipmods that bring in ships from cowboy bebop , battle tech , gundam. Just thought it would be nice to own the bebop with wing support from the swordfish or the other two . Just a thought. Could slam all the anime ships into one pack and call it the toonami mod

someone should mod some real military ships the naval ones and submarines as missile launcher boats :lol:

Wont happen till someone either fixes the current XRConverter to work with X4 or ego release some modding info/tool/help

Some ships from "The Expanse" would really be a nice addition.

There's a lot of interesting and unique ship designs in Star Trek Online, I hope some of those manage to sneak their way in :)
In space no-one can hear you scream unless you're transmitting on the right radio frequency.

If anything some of the best designs of all time from recent canon (VCX-100, Upsilon Class, T-75s)

Give it time man. Pretty sure about a year or two after X3:TC's launch there were around a hundred different ships you could import not to mention the TC mod with all of its new ships...

Cadus's Shippack anyone? :p I remember contributing a baseline model in simple form for him to work with as a replacement for a Khaak fighter.

Yeah that was a good one, same with the ones by JaySus and Killjaeden. Sadly, the majority of new ships, at least as recall, were more single releases of Star Wars/Star Trek/Babylon 5/ETC ships and not new stuff :(. To be honest though, I am toying with attempted to update/recreate (with much more detail) some Homeworld ships.. I have the ships extracted and I have Blender downloaded...

Would probably make a good M class ship though I doubt it would be the same looking ship with how modular turrets, engines and shields are.

Also cockpit would be a bit difficult seeing as there really is no forward window on the command deck, they'd have to do what the Skunk did in XR with the military cockpit which was fill on screens that show the outside through the use of cameras.

I'd love The Expanse but there is not enough ships yet in the show. BTW if you love The Expanse, then check "Helium Rain" on Steam - this game is basically Expanse/X crossover.


As for ship mods I'd love to see:
- Battlestar Galactica - with BSG: DEadlock we have tons of quality ships to fill the universe.
- Freespace 1 & 2
