Heh, some probably remember that my old Tesla coil. I decided to make some improvements, that ended up in a major upgrade. But it was worth it - huge power, up to 60cm very bright and extremely hot sparks with a really lightning-like look, high refire rate... I'm really happy with that one!

But didn't your cd/dvd cases melt with the heat generated by the spark?

and why is it that most tesla coil movies on youtube are by russians?
Yes i know tesla was a russian but still.
