So did anyone watch La La Land, Manchester by the Sea, Moonlight or any of the other Oscar related movies?

Just started watching "Legion" - the next Marvel Mutant series (on Fox via NowTV). So far it's a cross between the last episode of the original "The Prisoner" (in style and content- it has a very 1960's feel) and something slightly more confusing. I think a casual viewer would have turned off /over after the first ten minutes. I'm now at episode 4 and things are becoming clearer.

I stopped watching this a while back, but I just saw in the news that the Big Bang Theory has been given another two seasons.
When is that ever going to end? It was getting samey a long time ago, which is why I stopped watching it, and it's still going?
12 seasons? for a popular but fairly mindless sitcom?
It has no depth, nothing interesting at all, just canned laughter and some pretty girls. Well pretty to some.
I struggled to find a reason to carry on watching it after five seasons, then I just gave up.

Sounds like "Twin Peaks in Space." (That wouldn't be a bad idea for a series, to be honest...)
I enjoy the books, so I'll eventually watch it. But... Game of Thrones is coming, soon, so I'll have to try to get a binge-watch in before GoT's new season airs.

It looks like you can live stream Comet tv. Comet tv is apparently owned by MGM television. They are showing 2 episodes of stargate sg1 back to back every day.

Just saw Ghost in the Shell. I liked it. Still prefer the source material, but it was a good movie with stunning visual effects. Biggest problem was a character by the name of Cutter. He is sadly very one dimensional. The by for best part was a dialouge between Major Kusanagi and Kuze. All actors have solid performances. Johansson and Asbaek shine whenever they are on screen together.

This may be a stage-of-life thing (daddy with teenage daughters); however the most recent movie I saw was Beauty and the Beast.
Loved it!

Been watching Lethal Weapon, and no not the film but the television series. I stumbled onto it a few weeks back, and to be honest when I noticed it I said to myself, this is going to be a pretty sad rip off, and to be honest the first episode made me feel like it was, as it felt pretty dam close to the actual film with a different bit here, and a different but there. but after that first episode it took on a life of it's own, and it is a pretty good watch and I would recommend it.
