I can totally recommend Kingdoms Two Crowns from this list. It is a sidescroller kingdom building and defense game that can be played in Coop on the same screen with an amazing artstyle :)
It is super fun!

Damn, I still have one unplayed game from you in my list of unplayed games... where is the time gone as an adult 😥

Many many thanks for this heads up. Loved EU IV but all the expansions put me off due to the overall cost being in the hundreds (Steam Ultimate Bundle is £254). So cost effective way from going base game + 1 expansion to the full monty :)

Enderal: Forgotten Stories. I stumbled onto this one today on steam. While the game is free, there is a catch, you have to own the Skyrim Special edition as it is a mod and requires that version of Skyrim to play. It is a full standalone game, it has nothing to do with Skyrim or Bethesda apart from it requires the Skyrim game engine. It's around 17G download, so it's not small mod only played a little-bit of it so far, and it seems to be okay, just don't expect Skyrim.

Yes, it's a great free mod for people who have played Skyrim to death and then want a different and fresh game scenario, story and gameplay on the same Skyrim (SE) engine after that. I enjoyed it greatly. In gameplay terms, a little bit like the X3:FL and X3:AP relationships to X3:TC.
