Apologies if this has already been mentioned, but I've across an odd bug.

Doing a level 5 mission, three of the escorts have been abandoned, the one's being destroyed. But, when I destroy the Dragon, the Dragon just disappears... along with the three abandoned ships.

I still pass the mission, and I'm also told that I've been promoted. So, any idea what's going on?

im not really sure whats going on there, did u actualyl get promoted ? or did it just tell u that u did.

Yep - I now get offered level 6 missions.

Looked a bit further back, and I think somebody on page 25 had the same problem:
Everytime now when I get promoted all the ships created by that mission disappear, mark's ship also disappears without any explosion. And it all started during promotion to level 6.

The assassins guild doesn't seem to like my xtended game. I can (and do) accept missions to eliminate targets, when I complete them no messages or rewards (money or experience) are forthcoming.

Is the script meant to work alongside XTM?
If not; fair enough, I hope a new version appears that is.
If so; need solution.

Either way thanks Cycrow for excellent scripts/software you supply us with.

I use it with XTM without problems (up to Level 5 now). There is a remarkable difference in capturing probabilities though ... I get on average 1-2 M3 per mission as capture, while I need to kill about 100-200 pirate M3 to capture one.

i've heard of various ppl having trouble with XTM, but i havn't tested it yet so i cant say for certain.

as for the capture rate, im pretty certain its based on the race, as the assassins targets arn't actualyl part of the main races, thier capture rate is much higher.

same goes for the mercenray missions too

hello peeps, sorry to bother you guys but i wonna know the mission payouts for every lvl, im at lvl atm and i wonna know when it will really start to be profitable

What does this add over the vanilla X3 assassination missions, apart from being able to cap the ships?

After waiting for what seemed like forever I finally got an offer to join the guild. I took and completed a mission and got no message and no reward. I took a second, completed it and got the same nothing.

I'm running XTM .7.2, X3 2.0.02, Bonus Pack 3.1.0.6, and whole wad of scripts that are mostly Cycrow's and seem to be operate perfectly.

i have XTM but not the new bonus pack and it works perfectly

If you have anything like bounty enhancer, terracorp pilots, leveling ai, PiloteAI, or anything else that uses the kill signal, it can potentially interfere with the assassins guild.

PiloteAI works with the Assassins Guild and XTM, been using it for quite a while.
I recently installed the bounty enhancer ... now that you mention it, I think I didn't complete the last two missions, so it probably interfers.

I'm using that bounty enhancer script, as well. When I get back to my game I'll remove it and report back on my findings.

[EDIT] I just noticed that there has already been talk of this conflict at the Bounty Enhancement topic page.

When I was betatesting BrandX' universal capture script, it had the same problem. UniCap explodes Cap ships sometimes at a hull percentage >0% (to simulate a critical hull failure), which leads to incomplete assassination missions.
On a positive note, it also sometimes causes ships to jump to a different sector when heavily damaged ... once had an assassination M6 go on a rampage in a sector colonized by me ;)

I just tried turning off Bounty Enhancer, and Assassin Guild missions now function correctly.

Recently I joint the Assassins guild. But unlike the mercenary mission I don't get any reward after successfully killing the enemy.

There is now message what so ever that indicates that I got any money.

I can start a mission, but it doesn't finish.

What can I do ? I am using your Skript package allong with XTM 7.2.

At the mercenary guild I am now at level 4
