Cannot start mission 2

Hi,
I have just tried to take the 2nd mission, the one where Noah wants you to operate the turret of the transport(?) ship. Went through the cut scene to just after being introduced to Dogun and then instead of being in the turret of the ship I am back at the main station interface.
Running X3 ver 1.4.02 (NOT beta)
No Scripts
No Mods
Patched from 1.4 to 1.4.02 (prior to that patched from installation to 1.3, then patched to 1.4)

undock and you will be transported.

so...you want me to undock in my ship, then you'll beam me out of my ship back into the ship at the station?...k
