One thing I dont like, about half way through one ship destroys another.
Notice how the destroyed ship dissapears quite obviously a second or so before a tiny flash of an explosion (far smaller than the ship so it doesnt even obscure the ship dissapearing) appears.

Although im assuming thats because this was before they did some tidying up and tweaking. I dont think I could play for long if each ship I destroyed just vanished seconds before an explosion appears on screen.

If the laser sound effects are staying, I am so going to screw the trading and fight all the time. The new fraggage is just beautiful.

well, besides the little ship just disappearing and then exploding... but I'm sure that will be fixed, if everything else looks so good.

i like the sounds personally. finally some good heavy laser/explosion sounds

Also really cool music that i hope is in the game as i would love playing x3 to that. Oh and did anyone see the grey moon that looked like it had a chunk of it at the bottom taken out? (25 seconds into it top left corner)

Weapon sounds are great, finally some decent thuds and all that

Only thing was a bit weird was missiles trail looks ok in bright areas but when its black space u cant see trails just the initial glow. Oh and the station blowing up was hella cool Oh and another thing did you see how long that battlefleet was, WOW massive fleets this time could work as in x2 it didnt really play well with large fleets before.

Anyone notice that one ship (xenon looking one) weapons flash is blue but is firing the same orange lazers that other ships are firing? Bit weird and hope its fixed before release.

I wish my school had let me learn German as I wanted and not biology. Stunning.

Making a trailer takes so much time, the explosions you complain about are long outdated already and do of course look much better now.

Why are they showing that Teladi M1 after "Build"? Do we have to assemble it or is it in fact a station?

Amazing! I love the weapon fire sounds! Too bad WMP isn't letting me get a good screenshot of that Khaak M2.

Looks egosoft is spoiling us today, with so many new news and videos of X3
Keep it coming Egosoft.

A question though is it my pc or does this movie stutter alot i sure hope this is not the indication of the type of gameplay we can expect from X3

You do wonder that, but you dont wonder what an M3 has to do with trading?

Near the end of the vid did you see the KM2 looks like Ego hasn't changed it's look but has given it's weapons greater range.

It's nearer to the middle of the vid then the end. I wonder if they are going to keep the KM2 model or not.

What Khaak M2? I saw some maybe-Khaak ships that were maybe m4s, but no Khaak destroyers?

I saw the Teladi M1 but no big Khaak ships.

Have to say I like the new weapon sounds, hope some of the engine noise gets into the cockpit.

Stutter was surprising given I would have thought the trailer done on a high-end machine? But maybe that is tweaks etc still to be done

And the ship explosion was poor, but as already said (thanks BurnIt!) that will be improved, but I thought the station explosion was pretty damn good tbh

But overall looks great, hope it plays as well
