Parrafo: I bought X3 in a physical copy yesterday and I want to redeem the code and link it via Steam but even I have linked the account nothing happens. I press the button of "Update via Steam" nothing happens again, so I'm asking if there's any way to nowdays have X3 in steam via physical format.

Which X3 game or box did you buy (we need to be certain), and do you realise that you posted in the X Rebirth forum (now moved)? If it is X3 Reunion then there is no agreement with Steam to link its disk and Steam purchases.
