Fitzy, I suggest you edit your first post and keep that maintained with updates/corrections as needed. Then it will be cleaner to link through rather than it being part way down.

The race relations chart won't be added. I suggest you ask someone to add this to one of their compliations.

No worries, It might already be in some guides anyway.

Besides, turns out it must also be already linked somewhere else, because it turns out it's being downloaded a lot.

Hi brand new player here with a history of putting down games immediately if they are any more complicated than Super Meat Boy. Really trying to make a go to x3tc though (15 or so game hours in). Such an interesting game, enjoying it a lot, and the resources on this post have been fantastic. So from a newbie, thanks already to an obviously active community.

Just a quick note.

My website is moving servers this month and I am taking the oppotunity to revamp the entire site. So all the links to my site will be changing at some point this move. I'll post new ones when they are back up. If somebody can update the links in first post when I do that, that would be great.

And yes I am still alive, I am still reachable and no I dont post much

All the links will be on http://www.theengineeringguild.co.uk somewhere after the move. So if you need them before i repost new lines, just good to that site and have a look around.

Expect the change to happen around 15th March 2011.

The view is this guide is too light to add to the stickies. It needs more detail fleshed out if you want to have it included. The alternative is to contact one of the guide compilation authors to have it included in their next update.

Try reading your guide as if you know nothing about the game i.e. if you were a beginner starting the game for the first time. From that perspective you need to explain more about the process and steps that are gone through.
A very good example of a good level of detail is the video guides by daviddowner.

Time has come to ask for inclusion of my Complete List of Ship Sources (for the second time

). While the heavily scripted spreadsheet attached may contain couple of bugs, I find that most people will just check the post for the ship they need, follow the hyperlinks included and don't care about spreadsheet. Therefore, submitting the list itself as the guide, being the spreadsheet an extra feature.

I'm not very good with thread names so something more appealing like Where to get any ship you might think of or something might work too, I'm open to suggestions on that matter.
