All I'm saying is you could put me on payroll for Egosoft in the function of "knows secrets and taunts players about knowing secrets but doesn't tell anyone". Wh should you be the only one working so hard in that capacity. It's important to not understaff your departments.

Sounds like and interesting department to start, not sure if the customer relations will suffer because of it

Look back at this thread when the DLC is released and relive the joy i have right now

It isn't hard to guess that with "Existential Crisis", the DLC will be probably adding Khaak and Xenons - possibly completely revamped e.g.:
- full economy and stations
- full ship set (e.g. X3 branch of Xenons, new Khaak colony that survived Final Fury).


As for X-Rebith ships/region - I highly doubt as they woudl require more wortk to revamp/rebalance to X4 than makngi completely new ships.

No new xenon stations, i must disappoint, but that would certainly be very exiting to work on.

Aight lads and ladies, don't pester the poor dev or else the resolve to keep quiet and not give more hints will erode and we wouldn't want to spoil the surprise. All will come in due time and if we're really nice, maybe we'll get some of those guesses which missed the mark logged for future content updates.

I really hope for a few new sectors with beautiful vistas or changes to existing ones with some added places worth visiting.
Just as an example, the aquaducts is a thing that makes a sector stand out a bit. So more things like this and perhaps with some story missions associated with it.
In other words, reasons to go explorer and see the universe besides trading.

I did not play too far into Rebirth so i am unsure what happened in that game. but i do remember the sectors being fantastic. It would be super cool to see gates being reconnected to them. I was always a fan of the xenon hub. I would love to see the Yaki behave more like SCA and the duke when you make them become tempest, its so odd to clear out all of the area just to have them sit there and make ships, seems very anti climatic. A return of the sub factions like NVMC or OTAS would be super cool, I was always a fan of OTAS i would base my playthroughs around OTAS. I also thought the stock and commodities markets and exchanges were fun to play with.
Oh and a recycling module for your ships. i love having all the same ships, i like symmetry. So being able to scrap and transfer the crew from old ships to new ones from your shipyard would be fantastic.
And the Paranid Hyperion, i love that ship!

Ya i caught that looking forward to new things,

also i already have one Sentient Owl in my fleet, it has done some very odd things, of course it goes into hiding if I so much as invite a quest aboard, and forget about upgrades it's not having any of that...
