downgrade

Hello, can someone explain how to downgrade game on steam for dummies. in example of x4

Right-click on the game in your Steam library and choose Properties. Go to the Betas tab, and choose the version you want from the dropdown at the top. Obviously you won't be able to continue playing savegames made with newer versions, and you won't be able to benefit from any fixes or improvements in later versions.

thats ok. i want to purchase x4 with the next steam sale. this would probably with 7.0. i always played x games with mods. there is a great modlist on nexus with 100+ mods but created for 6.20. so that was my idea. but thanks

Once 7.00 is out, I'm fairly sure most mod authors will update them.
