None of their beta patches needed this long so far. Give it a week, 10 days at most.

So how do I obtain license to buy blueprints of wharf/shipyard? I maxed out relationship with Argon, but I don't see anywhere I can buy license. I also tried to scan blueprints using EMP but didn't work. Anyone figured out how?

There is a thread in the public beta feedback board about this. I think they said they were "working on it".

I have been playing since release, and am on 1.6. Have I done something wrong and I'm not on the beta?

You don't get a "beta code". You enter the password, as explained in the instructions, and then select the Beta from the dropdown. There is no "being on the beta". If you follow the instructions then you have access to it; otherwise you do not.

The Turret rebalance I've been hoping for. L beams are lethal as hell now. That and the removal of the invincible building areas dotting my conquered xenon sectors, this is a great update.

Perfect, the hotfix also fixes an issue I was currently trying to succesfully reproduce as I had crashed twice around the same time while trying to save the game. Good job!
Also can confirm, my UI no longer crashes!

My body is ready, but my empire is not.
Gotta speed up my little project to set-up full self-sustained economy to serve my Shipyard.
As someone mentioned I miss "mass crew transfer" which is serious blocker for me to get into boarding, but well the rest of 2.0 will keep me occupied untill then.

Any word on the HOTAS controller issues that some folks experience where their devices are not being recognized in X4, even though Windows and other simulation games see them just fine?
