it's looking amazing, but i'm now wondering after the disappointing text box in the new vid that it's not available on the mac yet, have the different OS versions been developed along side one another? Can i hope for the mac version being released at the same time or hopefully just a short time later?

Nope. Some time later - yes (X:R is almost confirmed to be steam-play intended). But it was said by Bernd in numerous interviews that release on PC Windows platform is top priority and everything else will follow after that. Also, see Linux (and probably Mac OS X) developer for X3 interview in the near AP 3.0 release newsletter.

Oh yeah i just re-read it, was some time ago i saw it. :) well I hope apple do a hardware refresh soon my iMac is so old trying to play AP on it is not nice :P

the timer says "brussels" i am so confused.. does that mean an announcement is being maide in brussels germany?
300 pages of complaining before release or bust!
